Description
In frame of the CSR project, environmentally friendly procedures will be evaluated to reduce CO2 and other GHG emissions.
The entire system of crop management including improved tillage practices, selection of crops, management of crop residues, manure and other organic materials and carbon sequestration into the soil will help to decrease GHG emissions in agriculture.
Characteristics
The CARC activities are concentrated in complex crop nutrition in agriculture. The impact of different tillage practices, crop and soil management and fertilization on carbon sequestration, soil health, water regime and CO2 emissions from soil, quantity and quality of yields is long-term evaluated.
The vision in frame of the CSR project will be the development of environmentally friendly procedures in crop production (conventional, regenerative, precise, etc.) by improved tillage practices, crop selection and management of crop residues which will significantly reduce CO2 and other GHG emissions, enhance carbon sequestration in soils and will use fertilizers in reasonable way.
